The Arts Society have broadened the remit of YOUNG ARTS  to include all ages and circumstances.

'Going forward this activity will be renamed ARTS VOLUNTEERING to better reflect the broadened area of public benefit. Many of the projects within Arts Volunteering provide access to the arts where communities would otherwise have little or no access to the arts due to financial deprivation or other circumstances'.

We aim to provide children and young people with exciting opportunities to get involved in creative arts activities. Our work with young people builds a lasting enthusiasm for the arts and an awareness of arts heritage and its conservation.

We are always seeking opportunities to support Young Arts Projects, such as practical creative workshops, gallery visits, running arts awards in schools and colleges, and funding artists in residence in schools.

Any organisation can apply for volunteers or funding. TASSG members with relevant contacts or ideas should contact a committee member.
